Hire Pilots

LSU Shreveport Career Services liaises between students/alumni and employers during the recruiting process. We'll help you navigate and understand what is already in place to help you reach the sorts of candidates you'd like to hire. Instead of devising strategies to build your brand on campus, we will tap you into existing pathways that work well on our campus. Let's work together to develop a recruiting strategy that fits the needs of your organization.

We offer a range of opportunities to help you connect with our students. They include:

• Offering one job-fair style recruiting event each semester that is open to students and alumni from all degree programs
• Facilitating virtual or in-person information sessions 
• Helping you to host first-round interviews, either virtually or on-campus
• Recording Q&A sessions about your organization and its opportunities for our

Posting Opportunities with LSU Shreveport

We can help your part-time roles, internships, and full-time opportunities reach current students and graduates using our centralized online job board called Handshake. This is the same system that helps us facilitate event registration and manage on-campus interviews.

Recruiting Events

Please join LSU Shreveport on November 12 for our face-to-face networking and recruiting event. Our event is open to first-year thru graduate students in all majors. Folks working toward completing their bachelor’s and graduate degrees are encouraged to attend. We also welcome alumni to come back to campus to participate in the event!

Fall 2025 Career and Internship Fair
Wednesday, November 12
10 AM - 1 PM CST

This event is a good fit for organizations interested in hiring students for part-time roles, internships, and entry-level opportunities. We also welcome graduate and professional school programs to participate.

Your registration fee will provide you with on-campus parking, an 8-foot table, and refreshments and lunch for up to 2 representatives. If you are interested in having more than 2 individuals represent your organization at the event, please note that an additional fee will apply.

You will also be able to opt for extras including table linens and access to electrical outlets.

 Participation fees are as follows:

-$100 | for-profit organizations

-$85 | non-profit organizations

-$15 per representative | Additional representative fee over the allowable 2

Once your registration has been approved by Career Services staff, we will follow up with an invoice and details about how to submit your payment.
